My Journey to Tasali.

A Tale of Transformation:

Welcome to Tasali, where your journey to healing begins. I'm Aishah, the founder of Tasali Therapy. As a first-generation British Pakistani, I deeply understand the complexities of balancing two cultures.

Originally from Manchester and now settled in York, I bring a unique blend of psychotherapy, counselling, and scientific expertise to my practice. It is both an honour and a privilege to walk alongside my clients on their path to healing.

Having sought therapy myself, I understand the importance of finding a therapist who truly comprehends your experiences. My priority is to create a comfortable and safe space where clients feel understood, valued, and supported.

I've personally experienced the struggles of relationships, family dynamics, and letting go of cultural expectations. This journey has deepened my empathy and allows me to connect with clients on a profound level.

Qualifications:

  • UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) registered (advanced trainee member)

  • Member of the Manchester Institute for Psychotherapy

  • Post Graduate in Integrative Transactional Analysis (completion 2025)

  • Family Systems Therapy

At Tasali, we have clinics in Manchester and York, and we offer online therapy covering the UK. I customise my approach to meet your individual needs, providing warmth, collaboration, and practical guidance at every step.

If you're ready to embark on your healing journey with someone who understands your cultural nuances and is eager to hear your story, I'm here to support you.

  • Through my experiences, I've observed the challenges faced by South Asians in finding therapists who truly understand their unique experiences.

  • "Tasali's support helped me navigate the overwhelming emotions and challenges of childbirth trauma, allowing me to heal and embrace motherhood with confidence."
